Signing of a Cooperation Protocol between Kafrelsheikh University and the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers In the Fields of Healthcare, Education, and Training Programs

 Kafrelsheikh University and the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers Sign Cooperation Protocol in Healthcare, Education, and Training Programs

Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the university and the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers (represented by Baltim Specialized Hospital).
The protocol covers areas of healthcare, education, and training programs.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Executive Director of University Hospitals at Kafrelsheikh University, and Dr. Mohamed Sabry, Director of Baltim Specialized Hospital.

Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky emphasized that the protocol comes within the framework of strengthening mutual trust between Kafrelsheikh University and the Ministry of Health and Population, in line with Egypt’s national health policies. It reflects the commitment to effective collaboration and integration across state institutions, in accordance with the directives of the political leadership, which emphasize coordination between newly developed Ministry of Health hospitals and the medical colleges—both public and national.

He highlighted that the protocol aims to:

  • Improve the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens,

  • Enhance educational and training services,

  • Serve the patients of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, especially those visiting Baltim Specialized Hospital,

  • Raise the performance of medical services,

  • Promote joint efforts in operations, research, and medical skill development,

  • Offer advanced diagnostic, therapeutic, and clinical services,

  • Ultimately improve patient satisfaction and serve the public interest.

For his part, Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Executive Director of University Hospitals, stated that the purpose of the protocol is to establish direct cooperation between Baltim Specialized Hospital, part of the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers, and Kafrelsheikh University’s Faculty of Medicine.

The cooperation will focus on:

  • Shared interest in healthcare, education, and professional training,

  • Providing high-quality diagnostic and treatment services,

  • Training and educating medical personnel at Baltim Specialized Hospital,

  • Ensuring top-tier medical care is accessible to patients and the local community.
