Scientific Seminar of the Multidisciplinary Participating Departments – Hepatology and Liver Viruses Unit

 Under the supervision of Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine,

the scientific seminar of the participating departments in the Liver Viruses Unit was held.

The seminar featured lectures by:

  • Prof. Ibrahim Amer, Professor of Hepatology, Gastroenterology, and Infectious Diseases

  • Prof. Emad Sadeqah, Professor of Oncology and Director of the University Oncology Hospital

  • Prof. Ahmed Obaid, Head of the Radiology Department

  • Prof. Hassan El-Batea, Former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Head of the Hepatology, Gastroenterology, and Infectious Diseases Department

The seminar was attended by a distinguished group of physicians from various specialties across the governorate,
as well as several faculty members from the participating departments.

The scientific day included discussions focusing on liver tumors, exploring diagnostic techniques and the latest treatment methods in the field.
