A medical team specializing in gastrointestinal endoscopy, including:
successfully performed the first Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM) procedure using Third Space Endoscopy Technology for a patient suffering from achalasia, marking the first such case at Kafrelsheikh University Hospital.

The hospital administration is proud to announce the launch of the Third Space Endoscopy Program, a pioneering addition to the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Unit.
Third Space Endoscopy offers a non-surgical and innovative approach to treating several complex gastrointestinal conditions, including achalasia (a disorder causing dysfunction of the lower esophageal sphincter) and removal of superficial gastrointestinal tumors.
