 Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, Attends the Graduation Ceremony of the Fifth Class of the Faculty of Medicine (Class of 2023)

Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, attended the graduation ceremony of the fifth class of students from the Faculty of Medicine, held at the University Conference Hall. The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Aal, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ismail El-Qen, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Roshdy El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University; Dr. Hesham Kamel, Deputy Head of the Medical Syndicate; Dr. Hussein Abdelrazek, Director of the General Hospital; along with the faculty vice deans, a large number of teaching staff and assistants, administrative staff, and proud parents.

In his speech, Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky expressed his happiness and pride, stating:
"On behalf of the Kafrelsheikh University family, it is my pleasure and honor to welcome our esteemed guests and the parents of our graduates to this celebration at the crown jewel of Egyptian universities—Kafrelsheikh University. I extend my sincere thanks to the Faculty of Medicine for organizing this distinguished ceremony to honor the graduation of a new class of students."

The University President emphasized that Kafrelsheikh University is a source of pride for all Egyptian universities, constantly evolving and advancing. He praised the Faculty of Medicine as one of the leading faculties locally, regionally, and internationally.
“You have every right to be proud that your sons and daughters are graduating from this distinguished institution,” he added.

Prof. Desouky also highlighted the Egyptian state's great emphasis on education, considering it a top priority in the New Republic. He affirmed the state's commitment to providing all available resources to graduates to help them achieve the highest levels of skill and knowledge, making them well-prepared for the job market locally, regionally, and globally.

He further stressed the university’s dedication to student activities, which play a key role in shaping well-rounded individuals and preparing students to graduate as future leaders. This aligns with national directives to enrich students' experiences and broaden their horizons, helping them develop various skills and cultivate creativity. It also instills positive values and principles that contribute to the progress and development of society, while enhancing students' ability to engage with their communities.

In his concluding remarks, Prof. Desouky advised the graduates to act as ambassadors for the university to the world and the community and to remain loyal sons and daughters of this beloved homeland—Egypt.
He extended heartfelt thanks to the parents who spared no effort or sacrifice to help their children reach this important milestone. He also expressed gratitude to the faculty, administrative staff, and all workers at the Faculty of Medicine for their team spirit in achieving the university’s mission. He congratulated the graduates on their well-earned success and encouraged them to maintain strong connections with one another, as they are the hope of both the present and the future.

At the end of his speech, the University President affirmed that all members of the university—faculty, staff, graduates, and their families—stand united in full support of the wise political leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, for the advancement and prosperity of our beloved country.

During the ceremony, an introductory video about the faculty and its departments was presented. Distinguished faculty members were honored, and a commemorative photo was taken of the graduating class of 2023, with the University President, vice presidents, and faculty staff at its center.
