Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, receives members of the handover committee of Support and Development of Educational Effectiveness Project, which is funded by the Project Management Unit of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to handover educational effectiveness projects in the Faculties of Fisheries, Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing.
Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, praises the achievement that has been achieved and a distinguished number of research projects that the university obtained and also praises the efforts made and the steps that are being taken towards raising the research and academic level of the university with the aim of achieving a high level of excellence, regional and international leadership, achieving sustainable development and Egypt's vision 2030.
Dr. Desouky adds that the university is providing means of support to the university's faculties and institutes to implement quality and accreditation standards and for the rest of the university's faculties and institutes to obtain accreditation, indicating that the university in all its sectors pays great attention to the accreditation of faculties, pointing out that the university is seeking to transform into a smart university and raise its ranking internationally.
Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, confirms that these projects aim to develop the infrastructure of the faculties in line with modern methods of teaching and learning, as well as developing strategies for teaching and learning with the participation of the concerned parties and developing existing educational programs.
Dr. Ismail Al-Qon adds that these projects are an important step for qualifying faculties for accreditation, which are being implemented within the framework of the funding available from the investments allocated for the Quality and Qualification for Accreditation Project in the Ministry, with the university's contribution to raising the level of educational effectiveness at the university level.
The committee hands over Support and Development of Educational Effectiveness Project
(SDEE) and makes an inspection tour of the achievements of the projects of the Faculties of Fisheries, Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing. The meeting is held at the Faculty of Nursing and in the presence of the deans of the four faculties, the directors of the quality assurance units, and some staff members and employees of the Quality Assurance Center.
