Today Tuesday 28/12/2021, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky, President of the University, meets with members of the elected Student Union Council, in their first meeting after the formation was announced, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hasan Younis, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Reda Saleh, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abed El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Prof. Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University and the University’s Team of Geniuses.

The president assures the members of the union that they are the leaders of the future and that they should represent their colleagues in an honorable manner in order for the student activities to appear in the most complete form that satisfies the needs and requirements of the university's male and female students.

During the meeting, Dr.Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky stresses the importance of completing a plan for the year’s activities to be presented and discussed quickly, provided that these activities are unconventional to start implementing at the beginning of the second semester.

As well, the president calls on the members of the union to have a greater role among the university students to identify their social problems and their ideas in developing the educational process and to convey their views to the university leaders.

He stresses the provision of all support to the Student Union Council at the university to contribute to alleviating the burdens on students and to raising the efficiency of the educational process and activating the role of student unions at the university.

Otherwise, the vices of president also confirms the university's administration's support for students to implement student activities in an appropriate manner at the university, which places the burden and responsibility on its new student union.

The Vices of President tells the members of the Students' Union that they have a great responsibility because they represent the only Egyptian university that had the honor of visiting the President of the Republic.

Prof. Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, explains that direct democratic dialogue channels have been opened between students and university leaders, extending his thanks and appreciation to the university administration.

The Head of Students’ Union, Ismail Ibrahim, thanks the President of the University for his support for the students and the Union Council and for facilitating the tasks of the Union to serve the university students, reviewing the work plan of the Student Union Council in all committees, stressing that they are required to participate in the implementation of various student activities that benefit students, and pointing to the support of the university.
