Today Monday 13/9/2021, the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, accompanied by Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafrelsheih, and Mr. Amr Al-Bishbeishi, Deputy Governor, inaugurates three art exhibitions produced by students of the Art Education Department at the Faculty of Specific Education in the art exhibition hall of the faculty. The first exhibition includes handmade carpets entitled "In Love with Egypt", the second is an exhibition entitled "The Aesthetics of Natural Leather" for the students of the second year, and the third was an art exhibition entitled "Start your dream" for students of the first year, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Younis, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Reda Saleh, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Aal, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amani Shaker, Dean of the Faculty and Supervisor of the Art Education Department; Prof. Dr. Naglaa Al-Ashraf, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and with the participation of the supervisors from staff members, Prof. Dr. Samah Al-Rifai, Dr. Asmaa Hilal, Dr. Rasha Atef, Dr. Dalia Al-Maddah and Dr Mirna Al-Nahhas.
The Governor of Kafrelsheikh, Major General Gamal Nour El-Deen, praises the good organization of the exhibition and the various displayed panels, which indicate the effort made to train students and the training methods provided by the university to students, thanking the university administration, which works on refining various talents which is leading to the development of the spirit of innovation, creativity and competitiveness among students and providing them with entrepreneurial skills.
As well, the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky confirms the university administration’s interest in caring for the talented students, supporting them and encouraging them while developing their abilities in all fields, pointing out the importance of student activities in personal development and building the creative spirit of the individual.
He points to the importance of organizing exhibitions and participating in competitions to show artistic talents, encourage them, promote a culture of honest competition among students, and consolidate the values ??of creativity and originality to qualify student cadres capable of competing locally and internationally, praising the artworks and paintings submitted by students.
The Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Aal, says that the exhibitions include many distinguished artworks that reflect the students' creativity and their ability to use the materials of the surrounding environment in a wonderful artistic way.
He adds that they are interested in preparing and training our students via organizing a number of practical training workshops to raise the level of students according to the latest technologies to keep pace with advanced technology to prepare them and qualify them for the labor market.
Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Amani Shaker, Dean of the Faculty, states that the exhibitions include the formation of natural leather with different techniques whose designs bear the Islamic character as an artistic commentary from Quranic verses and proverbs, confirming that all products in the exhibitions can be a nucleus for small and micro-projects.
Shaker adds that the designs of all hangings are characterized by citizenship and love of Egypt and the presence of the Egyptian flag in all hangings, as well as they display semi-automatic carpets made with the high-speed hand tufted technique, which gives many distinct artistic designs that were made in the educational factory of the faculty for hand tufted carpets.
