Today Sunday 31/5/2020, Kafrelsheikh University council is held under the authority of the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Dousoki in the presence of Kafrelsheikh governor Major General Gamal Noor El-Deen, the vices of president, deans, Secretary-General and the council members.

The President welcomes Kafrelsheikh Governor Major General Gamal Noor El-Deen and presents thanks and appreciation for his participation in the university council. He also salute staff members, assistant staff, IT team and E-learning team for implementing, activating and succeeding distance education system, confirming the continuous communication with all students by all means.

As well, Dr Dousoki praises the role of the governorate and its bodies in managing the Corona virus crisis as the governorate recorded fewer numbers compared to other governorates. He also asks the deans to follow the official pages of social networking websites of faculties to communicate with students and answer their inquiries, confirming the keenness of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the university to graduate students without harm to their future.

He also confirms that the capabilities of the university, its scholars, researchers, and experiences are in serving the local community and the people of Kafrelsheikh Governorate, as it is the house of expertise supporting development projects in the governorate via providing scientific and practical solutions, consultations and proposals to upgrade, support and develop the province, thanking  Major General Jamal Nour El-Deen, Kafrelsheikh governorate for his support to the university.

Otherwise, the University Council announces the procedures and mechanisms for holding the second semester exams for the academic year 2019/2020 within the framework of the assignments of the Prime Minister and the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities about holding the final teams exams at the facutlies on the first of July 2020 with taking all precautions to combat the spread of the new Corona virus and our students, staff members and assistant staff and employees are not exposed to the Corona Virus, adding that the faculties prepare exams’ schedules, exams’ rooms, auditoriums, controls work, medical clinics and private committees.

On the other hand, Major General Gamal Noor El-Deen expresses his happiness for his presence among scholars, confirming that Kafrelsheikh University is the house of expertise, science and consultations for the governorate in various fields, noting to the continuous cooperation between the university and the governorate’s bodies, in order to achieve the implementation of development programs for the people of the governorate, presenting his thanks and appreciation to the university.

Major General Noor El-Deen praises the university’s role in receiving the stranded Egyptian citizens, which won the admiration of everyone, confirming the implementation of  precautionary and preventive measures until the crisis ended, and announcing that one of the investors with establish a factory to produce masks and confirming the preparation of a permanent strategy for investment in the governorate with the participation of the university, research centers, the Agricultural Bank and a number of parliament deputies.
