Today Tuesday 31/12/2019, Prof Dr Abed el Raziq Dousoki heads the university council
meeting in the presence of Major General Jamal Nour el Deen, Kafrelsheikh governor,
the vices of President and the council members.
As well, Dr Dosouki states that the university capabilities, its professors, researchers, and experiences are in the service of the local community and the people of Kafrelsheikh Governorate, the house of expertise supporting development projects via providing scientific and practical solutions and consultations and developing proposals to support and develop the governorate, thanking Major General Jamal Nour El-Deen, the governor of Kafrelsheikh for his support to the university.
Otherwise, the governor, during his first attendance at the university council meeting, confirms his pride of the university’s role as a scientific reference that includes all specializations and a house of expertise, which is a major and important supporter in implementing the governorate's development and investment programs and projects for the service of citizens.
The university council also discusses organizing the first medical conference of the Faculty of Medicine on 20/2/2020 as well as a proposal for inserting outpatient clinics project at the university, a project of establishing a building for Faculty of Physical Therapy, a project of constructing a building for Faculty of Language, and a project of constructing a building for the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence within the university plan for the Next fiscal year 2020-2021.
They also discuss the formation of the strategic planning team headed by the President, the membership of the Vices of President, the deans, the directors of quality assurance units and centers, the coordinators of the strategic planning standard in the faculties and the Secretary-General of the university as a representative of the administrative staff and the representatives of relevant social parties and representatives of students. The council also discusses the request to purchase an office for the university in the new administrative capital.
