Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of the University, honors Prof. Magdy Mahfouz, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Prof. Abdelhamid Ghallab, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, during the University Council meeting for the month of July 2026, on the occasion of their reaching the legal retirement age. This is in appreciation of the sincere giving and distinguished efforts they had offered, which contributed to supporting the university’s journey and elevating academic and administrative performance within their faculties.

Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid affirms that Kafrelsheikh University believes that honoring those of distinguished giving represents an established institutional value that reflects a culture of loyalty and appreciation for everyone who has sincerely contributed to elevating the university and achieving its accomplishments.

He also affirms that the university takes pride in the sincere efforts offered by Prof. Magdy Mahfouz and Prof. Abdelhamid Ghallab, which contribute to achieving numerous successes and accomplishments. They are a model to be followed in academic leadership and sound management, and their scientific and administrative imprints will remain a source of pride and honor for Kafrelsheikh University.

The President praises the notable development achieved by the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Al-Alsun during their periods of leadership. He affirms that the university continues to support academic excellence and scientific research and to enhance the quality of the educational process, in line with the national strategy for higher education and scientific research and Egypt Vision 2030.

At the conclusion of the honoring ceremony, the members of the University Council express their sincere appreciation and pride in the efforts and giving offered by the two deans throughout the years of their work. They wish them continued health and success, affirming that their contributions will remain a luminous mark in the record of achievements realized by Kafrelsheikh University.
