Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University, chairs the Deans’ Council meeting for July 2026. During the meeting, the Deans’ Council reviews the preparations for conducting aptitude tests at the Faculty of Sports Sciences. He also confirms adherence to all organizational and health procedures to ensure the tests are conducted in a civilized manner that reflects the university’s standing.

In the context of strengthening the international dimension, Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid directs the enhancement of communication with the university’s alumni abroad and the continuous updating of their data. This will help build a comprehensive database of university graduates and benefit from their expertise to support the university’s academic and research progress and strengthen its international presence.

The council also discusses mechanisms to support the university’s advancement in global rankings. It emphasizes the importance of continued coordination between the university’s Rankings Unit, the faculties, the Postgraduate Studies Unit, the International Relations and Quality Assurance Units, and specialized research departments. This ensures accurate and continuous data updating, analysis of performance indicators according to international standards, and a focus on data quality, academic reputation, research citations, international research cooperation, sustainability, and employment outcomes.

The Deans’ Council affirms the university’s continued commitment to establishing a culture of environmental awareness and sustainability through the implementation of more environmental initiatives and awareness programs, and the expansion of environmentally friendly practices inside and outside the university campus.
