Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of the University, attends the activities of the Third Conference of the Egyptian Association of Urology and Delta Universities and Hospitals. The conference is organized by the Department of Urology at the Faculty of Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, in cooperation with the Egyptian Association of Urology, at the university’s main conference hall. It brings together a distinguished group of senior professors and urology experts from various Egyptian universities.

The President affirms that the university places the support of specialized scientific conferences at the top of its priorities, considering them one of the most important tools for knowledge transfer, experience exchange, and keeping pace with global developments. He notes that building the Egyptian citizen and developing his scientific and professional capabilities represent the fundamental pillar for achieving comprehensive development, in implementation of the political leadership’s directives and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid adds that nations are not measured only by their facilities and material resources, but by the minds capable of absorbing, producing, and developing knowledge. He explains that medical knowledge is evolving at an unprecedented pace, which necessitates continuous training and openness to the latest scientific advancements so that the Egyptian physician remains capable of competing, innovating, and leading regionally and internationally.

The President states: “Robotic surgery, high-precision digital endoscopes, advanced laser techniques, and three-dimensional imaging have become the hallmark of the future of modern medicine. The measure of success is no longer limited to performing the surgery alone, but is now measured by preserving the patient’s quality of life, reducing complications, accelerating recovery, and achieving the best therapeutic outcomes.”

The President notes that the current phase requires not only keeping pace with global developments but also contributing to shaping them — not merely transferring technology but localizing and developing it, and preparing physicians, scientists, and leaders capable of shaping the future. He affirms that Egypt possesses a prestigious medical school and distinguished competencies capable of global competition.
