Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of the University, receives a delegation from the National Council for Women – Kafrelsheikh Branch. The visit aims to enhance joint cooperation and support initiatives and programs designed to empower Egyptian women and strengthen their active participation in various fields, in line with the vision of the Egyptian state and the National Strategy for Women’s Empowerment 2030.
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid affirms the university’s commitment to strengthening ties of cooperation with the National Council for Women, based on the university’s leading role in community service and environmental development. He expresses the university’s support for all initiatives aimed at advancing Egyptian women and empowering them economically, socially, and culturally. He praises the national role played by the Council in spreading awareness and promoting values of equality and equal opportunities.
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid adds that Kafrelsheikh University continues to fulfill its community mission by building effective partnerships with national institutions. This contributes to spreading community awareness, supporting women’s and family issues, and establishing a culture of volunteer work and social responsibility. He confirms that investing in human capital, especially women, represents the cornerstone for achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.
For her part, Prof. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Rapporteur of the National Council for Women – Kafrelsheikh Branch, expresses her deep appreciation for the significant support provided by Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, University President, to all community activities and initiatives. She affirms that the cooperation between Kafrelsheikh University and the National Council for Women represents a successful model of integration between academic and community institutions.
Prof. Amany Shaker confirms that the National Council for Women – Kafrelsheikh Branch continues to implement numerous awareness and training initiatives and programs aimed at raising women’s awareness, enhancing their capabilities, and empowering them economically and socially. She points out that the current phase requires the concerted efforts of all national institutions to build a more aware society capable of facing challenges.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirm the importance of continued coordination and joint cooperation in the coming period. This will achieve the Egyptian state’s goals in supporting women and maximizing their role in building society, while enhancing the position of Kafrelsheikh University as a leading educational and developmental institution that effectively contributes to community service and sustainable development.
