The activities of the Third Conference of the Egyptian Association of Urology and Delta Universities and Hospitals have concluded. The conference is organized by the Department of Urology at the Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with the Egyptian Association of Urology. It sees wide participation from senior professors, experts, and consultants from various Egyptian universities and specialized medical centers. This reflects the university’s commitment to supporting continuous medical education, enhancing scientific research, and exchanging expertise.
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of the University, affirms that the great success achieved by the conference reflects the distinguished position that the university now occupies on the map of medical education and scientific research. He notes that specialized scientific conferences have become a true platform for knowledge exchange and the localization of modern medical technology, keeping pace with the rapid global developments.
He adds that the university believes that investing in minds and human competencies is the fundamental pillar for building a better future for the health sector. Preparing physicians capable of keeping up with the successive scientific and technological revolution is one of the university’s most important goals, in implementation of the Egyptian state’s vision and the sustainable development strategy “Egypt Vision 2030.”
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid explains that the conference succeeds in presenting an integrated model of cooperation between universities, scientific associations, and health institutions. This contributes to developing medical performance and elevating the quality of therapeutic services provided to citizens. He affirms that Kafrelsheikh University will continue to support all scientific activities that contribute to knowledge production, experience transfer, and the preparation of new generations of doctors and researchers capable of competing regionally and internationally.
For his part, Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, confirms that the conference represents an important scientific addition that supports the university’s scientific research system and enhances opportunities for scientific cooperation between researchers and experts. He notes that the university places scientific research and innovation at the forefront of its priorities and continuously strives to provide an academic environment supportive of creativity and scientific excellence.
Meanwhile, Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, states that the conference achieves its scientific and professional objectives and contributed to reviewing the latest therapeutic and surgical techniques and exchanging experiences among specialists. This is directly reflected in raising the efficiency of physicians and improving the level of health services provided to patients.
Prof. Tarek Abdel Baki, Dean of the Medical Sector at Kafrelsheikh Ahlia University and Secretary-General of the Conference, affirms that holding this major scientific conference reflects the level of integration between academic and medical institutions.
