Highlights of the Deans' Council Meeting for January 2026

 The Deans' Council, chaired by Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of the University, holds its regular meeting today, Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the Council Hall. The agenda includes discussion of several important academic and community files, in line with the university's commitment to developing the educational process and strengthening its role in serving society.

Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of the University, confirms the need to expedite the completion of grading and recording processes for the first semester exams across all university faculties, with full adherence to accuracy and transparency. He confirms the importance of announcing the results as soon as possible, taking into consideration the interests of the students and providing reassurance to them and their families.

In the same context, Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim confirms the intensification of awareness activities in accordance with the strategic plan of the Ministry of Higher Education to confront deviant behaviors alien to Egyptian society. He explains that the university is working on developing a comprehensive annual plan for community awareness, which includes promoting values of loyalty and belonging, raising awareness of the dangers of negative phenomena such as betting and gambling, the dark web, electronic extremism, and cybersecurity issues, in addition to intensifying efforts to combat drugs and addiction.

Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim also confirms the continuation of the university's active participation in presidential initiatives that enhance the role of universities in serving society, developing students' and graduates' skills, linking education to the labor market and the needs of the industrial community. He notes that Kafrelsheikh University is a key partner in supporting the state's efforts and implementing its developmental vision.

In the framework of interest in building religious and intellectual awareness, Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim announces the university's readiness to participate in the Egyptian Dar al-Ifta initiative "Values Endure" under the slogan "Our Ethics... Our Thought... Our Future," which aims to promote ethical and societal values and spread moderate and correct thinking among university students.

 

The Deans' Council also discusses preparations for organizing student visits to the 57th Cairo International Book Fair, scheduled from January 21 to February 3 next, confirming the importance of these visits in developing students' cultural and knowledge awareness and encouraging them to read and explore.
