Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, receives the evaluation team from the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, responsible for judging the internal excellence awards of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. The visit takes place within the framework of launching the Egypt Award for Government Excellence – Internal Awards System for Universities, in coordination between the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, and the Supreme Council of Universities. The initiative aims to deepen the culture of institutional excellence in higher education, enhance competitiveness among universities and their faculties, and align with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
During the opening session, Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim warmly welcomes the delegation, stating that the Government Excellence Award represents an opportunity to unleash maximum intellectual and creative energy in service of the work environment. He praises the training received by the university’s internal award team and administrative evaluators from both the Ministry of Planning and the university, noting that the excellence team had begun working months ago to assist faculties in preparing their award applications.
Prof. Amani Shaker confirms that the award is one of the government’s key mechanisms for developing the administrative apparatus. It aims to build an efficient and effective administrative system that contributes to sustainable development, keeps pace with global changes, develops human capacities, and entrenches the principles and values of excellence across all sectors — at both individual and institutional levels.
Dr. Mahmoud Zaki and Dr. Mona Hejres commend the university leadership’s support and commitment to implementing the internal excellence system, as well as its continuous coordination with the award administration to spread and deepen a culture of excellence and institutional development across its faculties and distinguished cadres.
