The General Administration for Student Welfare organizes the Sports Victory Festival Championship to commemorate the glorious October victories and to welcome new students for the academic year 2025/2026. The event takes place at the sports fields of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, featuring games such as boys’ five-a-side football, boys’ and girls’ volleyball (quad), boys’ and girls’ basketball (three-a-side), boys’ and girls’ darts, and boys’ and girls’ table tennis for university faculties.

The President confirms that the festival aims to develop students’ skills, particularly in the sports field, which positively contributes to shaping their character and preparing them physically and psychologically. Additionally, organizing and participating in such festivals helps instill values of fair competition, fosters communication and integration among university students, and supports their overall development. He confirms the university administration’s commitment to providing support for students to engage in all student activities, contributing to building their awareness and enabling them to effectively participate in achieving the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030, while fostering a generation with a spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland.

Prof. Rushdy Al-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities, explains that such participation has a positive impact on preparing and training students, promoting communication and integration among university youth, exchanging experiences, and developing and refining their skills.
