A delegation from Kafrelsheikh University participates in the training camp for members of the “Students for Egypt” family, held at the Leaders’ Preparation Institute in Helwan from October 23 to 26, 2025, as part of the National Program for Preserving the Egyptian Family Unit (Mawadda).
Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim states that the university’s participation in this training camp aligns with the Egyptian state’s directives to strengthen family cohesion and preserve the Egyptian family unit, in implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Executive Committee of the Mawadda Program at universities. The camp focuses on a range of topics aimed at building comprehensive awareness among students. The training camp is organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the supervision of Ms. Randa Faris, Advisor of the Minister of Social Solidarity for Family, Women, and Child Health and Development Affairs and Director of the Mawadda Program, and Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor of the Minister of Higher Education for Student Activities, Director of the Leaders’ Preparation Institute, and a member of the Supreme Executive Committee of the Mawadda Program at universities.
Prof. Tarek Abdelrahman explains that the training camp includes an introduction to the Mawadda Program, covering the social and psychological dimensions of family relationships, religious and medical aspects of family relations, developing students’ skills in planning student initiatives within universities, and training on mobilization and advocacy skills, as well as crafting effective awareness and communication messages. The program also involves preparing a model student initiative that can be implemented within each university, aimed at raising awareness about family issues and encouraging the largest possible number of students to benefit from the services of the program’s digital platform.
