17/9/2025

The blood donation campaigns of military education students at Kafrelsheikh University continue at Kafrelsheikh University Hospital, with the participation of a large number of students enrolled in the military education course. The campaign is held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University.

Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, confirms the importance of such initiatives. He explains that the University’s Military Education Department organizes this campaign to strengthen students’ sense of belonging and positive community participation, as well as to contribute effectively to saving lives and meeting the hospitals’ blood needs—especially providing all blood types for children, cancer patients, and accident cases.

He further points out that blood donation is one of the noblest forms of humanitarian giving, confirming the University’s keenness to organize such events that promote the values of generosity and solidarity.

Otherwise, Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, states that blood donation not only helps save the lives of others, but also brings health benefits to the donor himself. It contributes to the renewal of blood cells, improves blood circulation, and assists in the treatment of certain conditions, such as polycythemia.

It is worth noting that the campaign is accompanied by a seminar addressing various health and awareness aspects, most notably the benefits of blood donation and its positive effects on donors, such as improving overall health and stimulating blood circulation. The seminar also confirms the broader benefits that blood donation brings at the national level, by ensuring the availability of sufficient blood supplies to save emergency cases and meet hospitals’ needs.
