Kafrelsheikh National University begins welcoming new students for the 2025/2026 academic year to complete enrollment and registration procedures

Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, announced the commencement of welcoming newly admitted students to study at Kafrelsheikh National University, starting today, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, following the announcement of the first phase results of the admission coordination process for students who obtained the General Secondary Education Certificate (both old and new systems) as well as Al-Azhar Secondary Certificate holders.
On this occasion, Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim extended his sincere gratitude and appreciation to H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his great support in expanding the establishment of national universities, which represent a qualitative addition to higher education in Egypt. He also expressed his thanks to Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Secretary-General of the Council of National Universities, and the esteemed committee that visited the university and evaluated its programs and curricula, for their efforts and support leading up to this historic decision.
The Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University conducted an inspection tour of Kafrelsheikh National University, accompanied by Prof. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Ali Abu Shousha, Vice President of Kafrelsheikh National University for Academic Affairs, to ensure the smooth progress of operations and to monitor the registration process for new students. He emphasized the importance of providing a warm welcome to students and their families, facilitating procedures, and ensuring the presence of faculty members and administrative staff to guide and respond to inquiries.
He stressed that the launch of studies at Kafrelsheikh National University marks the beginning of a new era, carrying the legacy of Kafrelsheikh Public University, and reflecting the state’s vision to provide high-quality modern education based on interdisciplinary programs, international partnerships, scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship—meeting the needs of the local, regional, and international labor markets.
Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim extended heartfelt congratulations to faculty members, teaching assistants, staff, students, and parents, affirming that Kafrelsheikh National University will serve as a pioneering model for modern Egyptian universities. He promised that the university will, in a short period, rank among the distinguished universities regionally and globally, ensuring that the name “Kafrelsheikh University” remains a symbol of leadership and excellence, keeping pace with modern challenges and contributing genuine value to Egypt.
He further confirmed that the university seeks to deliver competitive educational and research services in the Delta region and will work in the coming phases to establish partnerships with prestigious international universities to provide world-class education aligned with the latest global standards.
Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim pointed out that the university’s programs and academic plans were designed in line with the reference and guiding framework of higher education in Egypt, as well as internationally accredited standards.
