Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, accompanied by Prof. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, attends the activities of the university’s Leadership Camp in Baltim for the academic year 2024/2025.
The camp, which extends over a month and a half, is divided into six groups for male students and six for female students. It includes a wide range of activities such as scouting, sports, student unions, social solidarity and social activities, scientific and distinguished students, as well as cultural and artistic programs.
Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim confirms that the university’s permanent camp in Baltim is a leadership camp that aims to nurture and prepare university students to shoulder their national responsibilities in both the near and distant future in service of the Egyptian state and its strategy under the leadership of the President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The program includes educational and awareness activities such as seminars, lectures, workshops, in addition to recreational and sports activities that allow students to enjoy the Baltim seashore, within the university’s plan to support student and recreational activities, which the university considers a central pillar of its development and achievement strategy, aligned with the national sustainable development strategy and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
Otherwise, Prof. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, notes that student activities at the university receive top priority as a fundamental and effective tool in building students’ personalities within the framework of the national project to build the Egyptian citizen and develop the Egyptian mind. She adds that the university spares no effort and continuously provides all the necessary resources to enable its students to compete in various competitions inside and outside the university.
It is worth noting that the camp program includes a series of lectures addressing topics such as consolidating national identity among youth, “Egypt and the Challenges of the Future,” the necessity of national projects, e-government, the “Dignified Life” initiative, rumors and how to confront them, national security challenges, positive thinking, and fourth-generation warfare. The program also features workshops designed to enhance students’ skills and competencies for future job opportunities, in addition to a variety of sports and recreational activities.
