During the July meeting of the Deans' Council at Kafrelsheikh University, President Prof. Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky emphasized the importance of promptly announcing the final results for all faculties for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025.
President Desouky Urges Efficient Results Processing and Resource Conservation Awareness
On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the Deans’ Council of Kafrelsheikh University held its regular session, chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, to discuss various educational and research topics and review updates and issues presented to the council.
Dr. Desouky opened the session by stressing the importance of closely monitoring exam control processes, ensuring timely grading and data entry, and speeding up the announcement of results, especially for final-year students due to military conscription deadlines.
The President also highlighted the continuation of summer student activities and training programs aimed at developing students' academic and creative skills. He also followed up on the activities of the University Center for Supporting Students with Disabilities, as part of efforts to create an inclusive and accessible campus environment.
He called for the preparation of a regulation for the university’s Electronic Testing Center in alignment with the standardized guideline issued by the Supreme Council of Universities, in preparation for presenting it to the University Council.
Social Responsibility and National Initiatives
Dr. Desouky instructed the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector to study the phenomenon of "street children" and target this group within literacy programs, in accordance with directives from H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
He also urged the Deans’ Council to promote awareness campaigns focused on conserving water and electricity, aiming to raise awareness of the importance of preserving natural resources, reducing waste, and supporting sustainable development through cost-saving and environmental conservation.
Encouraging Research Excellence and Social Awareness
Dr. Desouky emphasized the need to encourage faculty members and academic staff to publish in high-impact international journals, enhancing the academic and research reputation of Kafrelsheikh University.
He also called for intensified awareness campaigns for students to combat extremist and deviant ideologies, promote tolerance, and foster values of citizenship and belonging.
Readiness for the New Academic Year
The President stressed the importance of full readiness for aptitude tests to ensure smooth procedures, and preparedness for the university admission coordination process for the academic year 2025/2026, starting immediately after the announcement of national high school exam results.
The council also reviewed the development convoys planned for the remaining months of the current academic year, particularly targeting underserved villages in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. These initiatives are part of the university’s role in supporting the state’s plan and leadership’s directives to build capable future generations in alignment with Egypt’s
Vision 2030.
