The Activities of the Final Summit Meeting of Training Centers at Egyptian Universities

 The Scouting and Guiding Training Center of the Scouting and Public Service Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, participates in the activities of the final summit meeting of training centers at the level of public universities at the Youth City in Alexandria, during the period from 11-14/5/2025, under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports; Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, and Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms that the activities of the final summit meeting of the training centers at the level of Egyptian universities are held within the keenness of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to consolidate the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the scouts, both male and female, at the centers, and to develop the spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and their duties and responsibilities, and to develop and refine their skills, exchange experiences, mobilize energies and direct them for the benefit of the homeland, and activate the poetry of scouts in serving society and facing contemporary challenges.

The president states that the Scout Training Center at Kafrelsheikh University is selected among the top five training centers at the level of public universities. The shield of excellence, along with the first-level certificate and the best scout official at the training centers, are presented to Dr. Safwat Abu Al-Anin Shalaby, Director of the Scouting and Public Service Department. Aya Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed, a student at the Faculty of Education, is also chosen as the ideal scout.

 

Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, states that the meeting's activities include many different activities and competitions in all scouting, religious, artistic, scientific, carnival and public service fields in a competitive atmosphere dominated by the spirit of love, brotherhood and cooperation among the members of the Scouts at the Government Universities Training Center.
