Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, attends the meeting of the Education and Scientific Research Committee at the House of Representatives, headed by Dr. Sami Hashem, Chairman of the Committee, to discuss the draft budget of Kafrelsheikh University for the fiscal year 2025/2026.

The president confirms that the university's budget for the new fiscal year 2025/2026 has witnessed a significant increase, reflecting the great interest the President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attaches to higher education and its status as a top priority in Egypt's 2030 Vision.

During the meeting, the president discusses the budget items, the financial allocations required in Chapter One, and the financial dues that must be provided. He also reviews the university's ongoing projects, in addition to the financial dues required for staff members and employees. He also discusses the items in Chapter Two of the budget, particularly the increase in food allocations and special needs for students in student housing.

The President also reviews the university's requirements of Chapter 6 of the investment budget, and the importance of providing the necessary financial allocations to complete the projects included in the university's strategic plan, especially projects related to university hospitals, given their great importance in achieving its therapeutic mission and providing medical services in various specialties to treat the thousands of visitors from the governorate and neighboring governorates.
