Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, announces that the University has advanced and achieved the 10th place among Egyptian universities in the AD Scientific Index ranking for 2025, the 25th place in Africa, and the 1151st place globally. He points out that this ranking, which is based on scientific research, showed 75 diverse Egyptian universities and research centers. This new achievement reflects the university’s research and academic excellence and its research outputs in academic fields, congratulating staff members, assistant staff, researchers, and university employees for achieving this achievement, which reflects the quality of their scientific production, wishing them further progress throughout their careers.

The president adds that the university has achieved advanced positions in all scientific disciplines, as it ranks the first place in the field of agricultural sciences among 44 Egyptian universities, while it obtains the second place in the field of education among 38 Egyptian universities, the seventh place in the field of medicine and medical sciences among 77 Egyptian universities, the eighth place in the field of economics among 48 Egyptian universities, the thirteenth place in the field of health sciences among 87 Egyptian universities, the fifteenth place in the field of humanities among 77 Egyptian universities, the seventeenth place in the field of engineering among 87 Egyptian universities, the 23rd place in the field of business administration among 57 Egyptian universities, the 25th place in the field of humanities among 47 Egyptian universities, the 27th place in the field of social sciences among 57 Egyptian universities, and the 34th place in the field of architecture and design among a total of 50 Egyptian universities.

Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, explains that the AD Scientific Index ranking is one of the prestigious international rankings, as it is based on the research performance of scientists and researchers in various universities, based on indicators of scientific citations, research production and academic impact. It is a ranking that reflects the quality of scientific research and its impact at the local and international levels, pointing out that the university’s progress reflects the efforts made by staff members, assistant staff and researchers at the university, and confirms its advanced position among Egyptian universities in the field of scientific research and its research outputs.
