 Major General Dr. Alaa Abd El-Moaty and Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky inaugurate the Environment Week, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Innovation Exhibition

As part of the University's Environmental Week activities, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, accompanied by Major General Dr. Alaa Abd El-Moaty, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, inaugurates the Environmental Week Exhibition, which includes an exhibition of students’ graduation projects, an exhibition of researches by staff members and assistant staff, and discussed master's and doctoral theses related to the environment, an exhibition of products from units with a special unit within the university, an art exhibition, and an exhibition of products by young graduates.

The president confirms that the university is organizing the Environmental Week activities with the aim of promoting positive environmental trends and rationalizing environmental behavior. This is achieved by highlighting the university's role and its support for the state's efforts to protect and preserve the environment, in addition to providing community services that will promote society, increase awareness of the risks resulting from pollution in all its forms, and develop the skills of students, especially those with special needs, towards a culture of entrepreneurship and green investment.

 

Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, points out that the activities of the Environmental Week include production and artistic exhibitions, a charity market for productive families, tree-planting campaigns, beautification campaigns for green spaces and sidewalk painting in front of faculties, various convoys inside the university’s medical faculties, workshops and public service camps, blood donation campaigns, and various student competitions, explaining that all faculties will participate in the activities of the Environmental Week.
