The Council of Deans, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session today, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the latest developments and topics presented to the Council.
During the meeting, the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky confirms the university's commitment to implementing its various student activities plan (sports, arts, culture, and social activities) and supporting talented students, noting that student activities are among the most important foundations of the educational system.
The president also confirms the importance of the university's continued support and discovery of talented, brilliant, and innovative students, providing them with all necessary support, receiving their research and innovative ideas, and working to develop them. This will help transform their innovative ideas into competitively marketable products and help create marketing opportunities for them.
The Council of Deans also discusses the university's role in implementing the strategy for innovation, artificial intelligence, and scientific research, in implementation of the presidential initiative "Alliance and Development," within the launch of the National Innovation Policy, and the university's efforts to organize competitions to discover talent and geniuses in the fields of artificial intelligence and information technology.
The Council also follows up the comprehensive development convoys targeted for launch to complement the current academic year for the most needy villages, within the framework of the university's role in contributing to the implementation of the state's plan and the political leadership's directives to build generations capable of keeping pace with the serious steps taken by the Egyptian state in building the modern state and contributing to achieving its goals in accordance with Egypt's Vision 2030, and in belief of the university's role in serving the community within the villages of Kafrelsheikh Governorate.
The President directs the Council of Deans to continue the University's active role in implementing various presidential initiatives through executive plans, timetables, and performance indicators, as well as intensifying the implementation of awareness and educational seminars for students about various challenges and enhancing their sense of belonging, to confront concepts and ideas that conflict with the tolerant religious beliefs and authentic cultural and societal heritage of the Egyptian people, in addition to organizing field visits to the national projects being implemented, so that students can become familiar with the size of the projects being implemented in various sectors throughout the Republic.
