The Launch of the Unified Training Program for the Qualification of staff members applying for the Position of Dean of a faculty/institute

 The university launches a unified training program to qualify staff members applying for the position of dean of a faculty/institute, in conjunction with the unified training program for the position of vice dean/head of department, which is organized by the International Center for Human Resources Management and Continuing Education, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; and Prof. Dr. Ismail El-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Dr. Tarek Abdelrahman, Executive Director of the Center.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms that this program reflects the University's commitment to developing distinguished academic leaders who contribute to achieving the University's strategic vision and enhancing its standing among Egyptian and international universities. He points out that the University believes that investing in developing academic leaders is an investment in the future of our University, and that this program represents an important step toward enhancing leadership competencies within the University and supporting the process of academic and administrative development within the framework of Egypt's Vision 2030.

In the same context, Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, points out that these programs aim to enhance university leadership skills and develop the administrative capabilities of participants, through comprehensive training sessions that address many topics such as institutional development, combating corruption, financial and administrative aspects, quality assurance, community service, and strategic planning, based on the university’s keenness to develop human resources to achieve the principles of the national strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and achieve the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Otherwise, Dr. Tarek Abdelrahman points out that the program extends over three days, including ten training sessions, adding that this is the first time that a unified program has been implemented to qualify for the position of the dean/head of department. The number of participating staff members reaches 17 participants from various faculties, who are potential candidates for the positions of the dean of a faculty/institute and the dean/head of department.
