The university launches the promotional campaign for the “Beginning of a Dream” competition (the second edition) to support youth ideas and initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Central Administration for Youth Development - General Administration for University Programs and Activities), under the patronage of the honorable wife of the President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic; Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports; Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, and Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and the follow-up and implementation of the Social Activity Department at the General Administration for Student Welfare at the University.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, states that the competition aims to achieve the highest rate of youth participation in community building, and to enhance innovation and creativity, in line with the state's strategic goals to build the Egyptian person and consolidate his identity.

The President points out that the promotional campaign began through student (social) convoys that tour Kafrelsheikh University to contribute to educating youth on how to participate in the competition and achieve the highest rate of youth participation in community building and the extent to which they can benefit from it and transform their dreams and ideas into a tangible reality that contributes to the development of society.
