Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, announces the results of the “Kafrelsheikh University Chess Championship” within the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Building”, which is organized by the Social Activity Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and the follow-up and implementation of the Social Activity Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, states that holding these competitions demonstrates the university’s interest in student activities, which contribute to entertaining university students and optimally utilizing their energies, and work to increase the spirit of teamwork and fair competition among them.

The president confirms the university's keenness to inform its students and involve them in all programs and activities that develop cognitive and scientific awareness, and that contribute to developing cultural and intellectual awareness, to complete building the awareness of university students to contribute effectively to achieving the goals of sustainable development and Egypt's Vision 2030, and to build a generation that possesses a spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, explains that such participations have a positive impact on preparing and training university students, achieving communication and integration among them, exchanging experiences and expertise, and developing and refining skills.
