Today, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Council of Deans, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the developments and topics presented to the Council.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky confirms the need to follow up the university’s and its various units’ preparations to receive the new academic year 2024/2025, and to complete all necessary preparations and arrangements, within the framework of the university’s strategy aimed at providing an academic environment that helps students excel and distinguish themselves.
The president also confirms the effective participation in the “New Beginning for Human Building” initiative, based on the assignments of the President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to implement various programs, activities and services that include all age groups and cover all governorates of the Republic. This project is a reflection of the political leadership’s vision towards building an advanced and integrated society, as a result of the joint teamwork of all ministries and state agencies.
Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky also confirms the importance of student activities and the necessity of all male and female students engaging in student activities, and the university’s readiness to host the fourth sports festival for student families at the level of Egyptian universities within the “100 Sports Days” initiative.
The President also directs the Deans to follow up the launch of comprehensive development convoys for the most needy villages in cooperation with the Dignified Life Foundation and the New Beginning for Human Building Initiative, and to continue organizing intensive awareness convoys with the aim of combating and preventing the phenomena of illegal immigration and human trafficking, and implementing procedures and disseminating the culture of energy rationalization and improving the efficiency of its use in all faculties and units of the university.
