Today, Monday, 23/9/2024, the University Council, headed by Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of the University, and in the presence of Major General Dr. Alaa Abd El-Moaty, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, holds its regular session, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the developments and topics presented to the Council.

During his speech, Major General Dr. Alaa Abd El-Moaty, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, expresses his great happiness to be inside a great scientific edifice represented by Kafrelsheikh University with all its facilities and green spaces, confirming the constant endeavor to uphold the message for which they work, at the forefront of which is listening to the pulse of the citizen, as they are responsible for all the problems and issues that occupy the minds of citizens.

The Governor of Kafrelsheikh also confirms that any problem they face is dealt with in a scientific manner, starting with improving the visual image of visitors to Kafrelsheikh Governorate, and that the governorate always seeks the help of Kafrelsheikh University, as it is the first scientific partner supporting the governorate, and coordination is also always carried out with the state to overcome all obstacles facing citizens. The most prominent problems facing the governorate are water and sewage networks and roads, and they seek to provide water stations in all areas deprived of them.

During the council meeting, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms the completion of all preparations to receive the new academic year 2024/2025, starting with facilities such as laboratories and central auditoriums that are preparing to receive students from 8 am until 6 pm, and emphasizing the close follow-up of the curricula and activating them on the platforms for all study groups, as well as activating the e-book.

Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, explains that work is proceeding at full speed according to the comprehensive plan, which is set to complete the preparations for receiving junior and senior students starting this week, confirming that the university always keeps in mind the interest of the university student, and works hard to provide the necessary means of support and care, and harness all available capabilities to ensure the provision of the best educational services to students and provide an academic environment that is stimulating and supportive of excellence and creativity, and its full commitment to creating the appropriate atmosphere to help students succeed and excel.

The Council also approves:

- Granting academic titles and appointments: - (4 awarded the title of professor - appointing 6 assistant professors - appointing 4 lecturers).

- Granting Master's Degrees to 52 researchers, and granting Doctorate Degrees to 24 researchers.

- Granting Professional Master's Degrees to 18 researchers, and granting Professional Doctorate Degrees to 24 researchers.
