Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, inspects the University Hospital, to check on the health condition of patients from the Palestinian people, who are received at the University Hospital to complete their treatment, to determine the level of health care and medical services provided to them, and to provide all medicines, devices and supplies, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University; Dr. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Hatem Al-Gohary, Executive Director of the University Hospital.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouki, President of the University, directs the provision of medical and therapeutic care to sick Palestinian brothers inside university hospitals, taking into consideration the accompanying brothers who attend with the patients and providing them with all means of comfort, and creating an entertainment program for the accompanying children, confirming the university’s keenness to support the Palestinian brothers and provide them with all different aspects of support, stressing the university’s societal role in supporting the brothers of the Palestinian people.
The president explains that receiving the Palestinian brothers is within the framework of implementing the directives of the political leadership and the interest of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in the Palestinian issue as it is a central issue for Egypt, and the Egyptian state’s positions of support and assistance to the Palestinian people, stressing the raising of the degree of preparedness and readiness of university hospitals to receive and provide urgent health care to the Palestinian people, and directs to provide all necessary means of support and care and all their needs for medical and other services in various required specialties, until their safe return.
