A high-level delegation headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University; Dr. Abdel Hamid Ghallab, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and Dr. Muhammad Ghanem, Professor of the Faculty of Agriculture, visited the Spanish Polytechnic University on Thursday, February 22.

The President expresses his happiness with the visit and the good reception, praising the successes achieved by the visit, as the visit witnessed discussions to develop ways of scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities, wishing for more coordination and strengthening of bilateral relations between the two universities, in the areas of building scientific and research capabilities, and benefiting from Spanish expertise. The President of the Spanish Polytechnic University also expressed his great happiness at receiving Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky and his accompanying delegation.

During the session, Dr. Abdel Razek Desouki, President of the University, asked many questions about the nature of research, the actual possibility of applying them, the mechanism for the participation of civil society and companies in financing scientific research at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering in all specializations, and how to market the outputs of scientific research and its impact on the local community.

After that, the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at the Spanish Polytechnic University, accompanied Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, and his accompanying delegation, on an inspection tour of the university’s farm, dairy and feed factories, stadiums, gymnasiums, university facilities, the Department of Marine Sciences, and the Department of Small Ruminants and Poultry.

The two parties agreed on the necessity of establishing a joint cooperation agreement between the two universities in the areas of exchanging students and staff members, joint researches, technology transfer, and benefiting from the Spanish experience.
