The activities of the Mawaddah Symposium on those about to get married were held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Abdel Hamid Ghallab, Dean of the College, in the ground floor of the College, under the supervision of Youth Welfare.
A number of students attended and the problems that the Egyptian family suffers from, as revealed by official statistics, including the increase in the phenomenon of divorce, were discussed.
This is done by providing basic knowledge and awareness of the foundations of choosing a life partner, the importance of undergoing a medical examination before marriage, and improving support services.
And family guidance that helps them establish a healthy family entity based on the principles of affection and compassion.
the university concludes the activities and training courses for the presidential program (Mawaddah) to preserve the entity of the Egyptian family for the first semester of the academic year 2023/2024, under the patronage of Dr. Abdelrazek Youssef Desouki, the President, and Dr. Mohammed Abd El Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, which is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, states that the University, based on its social responsibility, pays great attention to national projects and programs, including the (Mawaddah) program, as the president periodically follows up on the implementation of the program’s activities in the university’s various faculties, stressing the university’s keenness to provide all possible support to achieve the goals of the program and ensure maximum benefit for university students, which contributes to their acquisition of the skills necessary to form a healthy and stable family, by supporting young people about to get married with the knowledge, skills and experiences necessary to build a family on sound foundations and correct wrong beliefs, which helps preserve the Egyptian family and reduce divorce.
Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs and supervisor of the program, indicates that the university provides all support and assistance to organize and implement the training activities for the presidential program (Mawaddah) as halls equipped with projectors are allocated to implement the program’s activities and hold workshops, and all necessary facilities are provided for students to attend training courses and achieve the maximum benefit from the program.
Dr. Tarek Abd El-Rahman, the technical coordinator of the program at the university, indicates that the implementation of all the targeted training courses for the presidential program (Mawaddah) at Kafrelsheikh University, amounting to (50) training courses distributed among the university’s (19) faculties, has been completed, adding that there was a heavy demand by university students to attend the training courses, as the total number of students who attended the training courses reached (6196) students, including (2344) male students and (3852) female students.
