Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, announces that the university has achieved advanced positions in the Shanghai ranking for majors for 2023 compared to previous years. In the field of agricultural sciences, the university ranks (101-150) internationally and ranks the first place locally for the second year in a row. In the field of veterinary sciences, it ranks (151-200) internationally and third locally for the fifth year in a row, and in the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, it ranks (201-300) internationally and the second place locally for the third year in a row, and in the field of human biological sciences, the university ranks (301-400) internationally, advanced 100 places from last year, and ranks (401-500) internationally in the field of biological sciences, to become the only university that appeared in the majors "Human Biological Sciences and Biological Sciences" from Egyptian universities.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky praises the university's achievement and its progress in the Shanghai ranking for majors for the year 2023, stressing the university's constant keenness to take serious and rapid steps to reach the level of internationally prestigious universities, by providing all the necessary capabilities to upgrade the educational and research system, in addition to providing continuous support to researchers and innovators.
Dr Desouky says that the university has maintained its presence among the major and prestigious universities globally to confirm its leadership regionally and internationally, stressing that all disciplines classified globally take into account the latest educational systems, thus contributing to distinguished graduates who are able to compete in the local, regional and international labor market.
Prof. Dr. Ismail El-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, indicates that Kafrelsheikh University’s success in being permanently included in the Shanghai Chinese ranking is a great achievement, especially that maintaining presence and progress with the increasing number of globally classified majors year after year, confirming that success is based on a vision, strategy and long-term plans and is not a coincidence, stressing that this distinction is the result of the efforts of the university and its affiliates with the aim of continuous development of regulations and mechanisms for the advancement of scientific research and the continuous efforts made by the university administration in all fields.
