The University Council reviews Issues related to the Educational Process

Today, Wednesday, the University Council, headed by Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its periodic session in the Council Hall to discuss a number of issues related to the educational and research process, and to review developments and topics presented to the Council in the presence of Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafrelsheikh; Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University, Deans of Faculties, and the counselor Abd Allah Ghallab, Legal Advisor of the University.

Major General Jamal Nour El-Din reviews the state's investment plan for the fiscal years 2020/2021 and 2022/2023 through an application installed on the governorate's website that allows the public to know all the information and amounts that have been spent under the management of the Ministries of Planning and Local Development in cooperation with the governorate, which includes state investments in the field of education and health and otherwise.

He also refers to the great efforts made by the state in managing a dignified life project, which the political leadership attaches great importance to in order to improve the standard of living of citizens and provide all their requirements and needs, in addition to the completion of 25 development projects, which varied between the development of nursing homes and some central hospitals in the governorate, and the development of facilities, water and sanitation stations, and roads.

After that, Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky discusses several educational issues related to the University Council, including the proposed numbers of foreign students in the various faculties for the new academic year 2023/2024.

The President also directs to intensify efforts, stressing the continuation of launching medical, veterinary and agricultural convoys, educational seminars, various events and activities, and the positive contribution to capacity building in the health, environmental, veterinary and social fields, in cooperation with the "Dignified Life" initiative, in order to activate the university's role in community service and environmental development at the level of Governorate.
