The Faculty of Al-Alsun hosts an Awareness Symposium for the "Dignified Life" Foundation on "Volunteer Work"


 


Today, Wednesday, 23/11/2022, under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, the university hosts a student awareness symposium for the “Dignified Life” Foundation at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, entitled “Strengthening Voluntary Work Efforts for University Youth” in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abd El-Hamid Ghallab, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Mosaad Zine El-Abidine, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, with the participation of Dr. Ahmed Selim, a member of the Dignified Life Foundation, Prof. Dr. Rushdy Al-Adawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Postgraduate Studies and Research, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, staff members, and students.

Prof. Abd El-Hamid Ghallab, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, states that the symposium is held within the framework of a series of awareness symposiums organized by the Dignified Life Foundation in universities in all governorates of the Republic to disseminate the values of volunteer work and community service among university youth within the framework of the presidential initiative “A Dignified Life” to achieve sustainable development.

Prof. Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Postgraduate Studies and Research and General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, confirms that the presidential initiative “A Dignified Life” aims to enhance the spirit of belonging to the homeland and emphasize the state’s bias towards the groups most in need and the keenness of the political leadership to apply social justice, pointing to the size of the achieved achievement and its positive impact on improving the quality of life and preaching a better future. He says that the new republic will be built on capabilities of our youth, and wishes all young people to participate in the initiative of a dignified life for the sake of Egypt and for a better future.

Prof. Dr. Mosaad Zine El-Abidine, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, indicates that the presidential initiative, A Dignified Life, aims to emphasize the importance of volunteer work and attract young people to the idea of community and service work.

 

Dr. Ahmed Selim, a member of the Dignified Life Foundation, explains that there are various training activities provided by the Dignified Life Foundation, including training on the skills needed by the labor market, and awareness training activities for young people in order to open direct channels of communication between the Foundation and society, especially the youth category, and there is a diverse plan for activities via working groups, including training, development and awareness.
