Deans Council


 Today, Tuesday, 14/6/2022, The Deans Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky, President of the University, holds its monthly meeting to discuss and review the monthly developments and topics presented to the council, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hasan Younis, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Reda Saleh, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abd El Aal Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, Deans of Faculties and Secretary General of the University, Dr. Ali Sabry.

The President stresses the continuous follow-up of the regularity of the exams of the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022 in various faculties, and to ensure adherence to all precautionary measures in order to preserve the safety of all university employees.

The Deans’ Council also confirms maximizing the university’s role in effective and positive community participation in the “Dignified Life” initiative, providing all medical, veterinary and community services to remote areas and villages most in need, and considering the possibility of organizing development convoys entitled electronic literacy within the convoys organized by the university with the participation of the Faculty of Computers and information.

 

The President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky directs the provision of all the necessary capabilities to increase the number of foreign students, participate in limiting the travel of Egyptian students to study abroad, and enhance cooperation and participation in global initiatives that encourage linking the university with industry via the university’s research and societal role in meeting and serving the local community within the framework of the vision Egypt 2030 to support the field of applied scientific research, provide the necessary technical support and follow up on the preparation of faculties to apply for accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
