For the second year, Kafrelsheikh University organizes an Entrepreneurship Day coinciding with the Global Entrepreneurship Week


 Under the Patronage of the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouki and Prof. Dr. Hasan Younes, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the Entrepreneurship Club at the university is organizing the fourth component of the Technology Innovation Commercialization Office “TICO”, the Entrepreneurship Day, in the presence of a delegation from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, headed by Prof. Dr. Amr Farouk Abd El-Khaleq, Assistant Head of the Academy for Technological Development; Dr. Wafaa Mohammed Abd El-Rasheed, Executive Director of Technology Innovation Commercialization Office “TICO” at the Academy; Eng Marwa Hussein, Executive Director of the TTO Unit, and Dr. Yasmin Ahmed, Executive Director of the Patent Office, in the presence of Mr. Mina Ghaly, an entrepreneurial expert, and Ms. Rania Salah, an entrepreneurial expert, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Qadri, Director of the Entrepreneurship Club, and Dr. Enas Jumaa, Director of the Technology Innovation Commercialization Office.

The Entrepreneurship Day aims to help disseminate the culture of entrepreneurship among students, staff members and employees and motivate them via explaining examples of success stories for some startup companies and how to overcome some of the obstacles they may face in the labor market.

Also, as part of today's program, models of the medical services robot, fully funded from the budget of the University's TICO Office, will be delivered to the University Hospital, in preparation for its use in the floors of medical isolation for patients with the emerging corona virus, in order to reduce the medical staff in the hospital.

The day ends with a competition to choose the best startup company from a number of teams that were trained during the fourth idea generation camp, which was held over two days, in the presence of Mr. Mina Ghaly, the main trainer at the camp.
