Kafrelsheikh University Progresses 10 Places in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021 for Universities in Economics Emerging Countries


  Today Wednesday 10/3/2021, the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Desouky announces that the university progresses 10 places in the British Times Ranking according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021 for Universities in Economics Emerging Countries as the university ranks the place No 165. The ranking includes indicators of performance in five fields: teaching (learning environment), research (size, income and reputation), citations (research impact), international outlook (employees, students and research), industry income (knowledge transfer).

As well, the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Desouky praises the new achievement and progress of the university in the international ranking “the British Times”, confirming the university's interest in developing the system of teaching, learning and scientific research and supporting researchers with the necessary capabilities to increase the number of research and international participation to achieve advanced centers in the international rankings of various disciplines.

The President explains that this ranking is a strong international recognition of the university’s development in education and scientific research, noting that international rankings contribute greatly to improving the international reputation of the university in particular and Egypt in general in the field of higher education and scientific research, which is the effort of staff members, researchers and postgraduate students of the university.

 

The president also stresses the optimization of the scientific equipment in the faculties and central laboratories that are accredited and under accreditation and eligible for accreditation at the university to encourage applied scientific research, international scientific publishing, application for competitive projects and the fulfillment of the requirements of international rankings.
