The Governor in the Hospitality of Kafrelsheikh University Council


 

 Today Tuesday 24/11/2020, the university council holds its monthly meeting under the authority of the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Desouki in the presence of Major General Jamal Noor El Deen, Kafrelsheikh governor; Prof Dr Hasan Youness, the vice president for post-graduation studies and research; Prof Dr Reda salih, the vice president for community service and environment development affairs, the deans and the council members.

The president thanks Kafrelsheikh governor for his tangible efforts throughout the governorate of centers, cities and villages, wishing success in achieving the aspirations of the people of the governorate and for his support to the university, wishing him success.

As well, the president confirms that the university’s capabilities, scientists, researchers and experiences are in the service of the local community and the people of the governorates via providing scientific and practical solutions and consultations and developing proposals to support and develop the governorate.

Otherwise, Major General Jamal Noor El-Deen expresses his happiness at meeting the university leaders in various disciplines and says that the results of the Prime Minister’s visit are positive, which was represented by additional accreditation for the Emergency Hospital and the Oncology Center.

The governor confirms the provision of funds to support health facilities, and called for raising the levels of awareness and precautionary measures to prevent the emerging corona virus, saying that lands had been allocated for building social housing and indicating that the governorate’s bodies were ready to receive the rainy season.

The governor also speaks about the development of slums in cooperation with the university, thanking the university for its role in community participation, especially medical campaigns to the most needy areas.

He also praises the measures to prevent the Corona virus at the university since the beginning of the Coronavirus crisis, stressing the decline in the severity of cases of infected and dead people due to adherence to health procedures and calling for intensifying awareness campaigns until a vaccine is discovered for treatment.

 

He announces the formation of an operations room to follow up the health situation and confirms the governorate’s ability to overcome that virus by following precautionary measures and the number of respirators has also been increased.
