The President: The Success of the World Youth Forum reflects the Political Leadership’s Interest in the Role of Youth

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky, President of the University, confirms that Egypt’s success in organizing the World Youth Forum, under the patronage and in the presence of President Abed El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in its fourth session, during the period from January 10 to 13, 2022, entitled “Back Together”, with the participation of Young people from 196 countries from all over the world, reflect the president’s interest in the importance and value of the role of youth in achieving the development and progress of societies, and the need for a good listening and dialogue to their ideas and suggestions.

The President says that the World Youth Forum is an opportunity to communicate with senior decision-makers and thinkers around the world, via their participation and interventions during the events, as young people from all over the world participate in a rich international forum to express their views and come up with recommendations and initiatives, in the presence of a elite of world leaders and influential personalities, senior decision makers and thinkers around the world.

Dr. Desouky explains that the forum has become an important dialogue platform for young people around the world and in Egypt to express their opinions, ideas and innovations, stressing Egypt's ability to professionally manage, the accuracy of the organization and present its development programs, adding that dignified life programs have become a tangible reality in villages.

 

The President refers to the participation of the University Students’ Union, represented by the student Ismail Ibrahim, Head of the Union, stressing the importance of student participation in the forum, in the university administration’s belief in the necessity of students’ participation in community issues to advance their cultural level and enhance their awareness.
It is noteworthy that the forum aims to gather the world's youth in order to promote dialogue, discuss development issues, and to send a message of peace and prosperity from Egypt to the world. The United Nations Commission for Social Development has accredited the three previous sessions of the World Youth Forum in Egypt an international platform for discussing youth issues.
