The Faculty of Pharmacy celebrates the 48th Anniversary of the glorious October victories and receives its Junior Students

Today Sunday, 17/10/2021, under the patronage of the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky, and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Kafrelsheikh University celebrates the 48th anniversary of the victories of the Sixth of October War of 1973, the war in which the Egyptian army won, and regained the land of Sinai via organizing a symposium entitled "Liberating Sinai between War and Peace" within strict precautionary measures.

The Student Union of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Kafrelsheikh University, also organizes a reception for the batch newly enrolled in the faculty 2021/2022, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hasan Younes, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Reda Saleh, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Prof. Dr. Abd El-Aziz El-Ashmawy, Vice Dean for Education and Students’ Affairs, and Staff of War Ahmed Abdel-Monsef, Director of Military Education at the university, and staff members under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ramadan Al-Doumany, Dean of the faculty.

As well, the Student Union Members receive the junior students and attendees with symbolic gifts. The ceremony also begins with a presentation of many activities in the faculty, and concludes with an introductory tour inside the faculty building.

The symposium is hosted by Air Vice Marshal Staff of War Hisham El-Halabi, the strategic expert at the Nasser Higher Military Academy, who reviews the mechanisms of victory and peace attempts before and after the 1973 war, confirming the ability of the Egyptian army to overcome the difficult conditions that they faced with unconventional solutions.

 

The President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky honors Air Vice Marshal Hisham El-Halabi, in appreciation of his efforts in educating the present and future generation of young people by gifting him the university’s shield, confirming the university administration’s keenness to celebrate the anniversary of national victories, especially the glorious October victory annually, in commemoration of this anniversary that we are all proud of.
