The President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky announces the joining of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine to the list of Faculties of Veterinary Medicine at the American Veterinary Medical Association.
The President indicates that the association provides a resource for information, continuing education opportunities, publications, scientific journals, programs and services.
As well, the president confirms that the veterinarian has an important role in society and an economic role, as it effectively contributes to the development of livestock and raise their productivity, as it is considered the first line of defense to protect humans from common diseases.
He adds that what was studied within the faculty is a basis for developing students' skills in practical life and the veterinary labor market to compete in the local, regional and international labor market.
Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Qun, Dean of the Faculty, explains that the Association is working to get acquainted with alumni and experts of faculties of veterinary medicine in the various countries participating in the Association, confirming that this contributes to the development and refinement of the alumni’s experiences and the exchange of experiences.
It is worth noting that the American Veterinary Medical Association includes Faculties of Veterinary Medicine in many countries, including France, Croatia, Bulgaria, China, and Brazil.
