Today Tuesday 27/7/2021, The University Council holds its monthly meeting headed by the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky, in the presence of Prof. Hassan Younis, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Reda Saleh, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, the Deans, the University’s Legal Adviser and Mr Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University and members of the Council.
As well, the council discusses the memorandum of the Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare regarding approving the implementation of the first sports festival for student families in Egyptian universities, with the start of completing the tools and procedures necessary to implement the festival.
In its meeting, the University Council reviewes the report of the committee formed to develop mechanisms for converting the paper book into an electronic book, in order to ensure the availability of scientific material on the university’s educational platform within the activation of the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities regarding the conversion of the university book to electronic book starting from the next academic year 2021-2022.
The President also directs the implementation of the comprehensive maintenance of buildings, facilities, auditoriums and student housing, taking into account the elements of safety and security for all facilities during the summer vacation in preparation for the new academic year.
