Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announces that Kafrelsheikh University occupies the second rank after Beni Suef University in the international publication at a rate of 0.24 for every research, then Cairo University in the third rank at a rate of 0.23 for every researcher.

While Metals Development and Research Center occupies the first place among the research center at rate of international publication of 0.73 for every research and this is the highest rate of publication in Egypt, then the City for Scientific Research and Technology Applications at a rate of 0.67 for every researcher, then in the third place comes the Petroleum Research Institute at a rate of international publication 0.56 for every researcher.

The international publication rate is calculated according to the researchers’ definition by UNESCO and OECD and the calculation of number of international researches according to the International Data Base “Scopus”.

As well, Prof Dr Maged el Kemary has stressed the permanent keenness of the university to motivate staff members to increase the rates of international publication in magazines and encyclopedias internationally classified in all scientific specialisms especially that the university attaches great importance for scientific research system.

He also noted that the rank of Kafrelsheikh University in international publication emphasizes its distinctive academic reputation among universities at home and abroad which it can achieve in a few years.
