This faculty was established to meet the needs of the governorate and neighboring governorates. It aims to prepare graduates capable of absorbing modern technologies in the fields of aquaculture, fish processing, and increasing fishery productivity as an important sector in the national economy, developing and regulating fishing mechanisms, and preserving the aquatic environment, as Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate produces approximately 40% of the fish production in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture Sciences at Kafrelsheikh University was established by Presidential Decree No. (146) of 2013. Ministerial Decree No. (3940) was issued on October 29, 2013, regarding the college's internal regulations (undergraduate level) based on the credit hour system.

The Faculty Strategic Objectives:

1. Qualify the faculty for academic accreditation.

2. Improve the quality of the College's academic and administrative staff.

3. Develop the College's own resources.

4. Strengthen the College's role in fisheries, community service, and environmental development.

5. Excellence in education to produce graduates capable of competing in the labor market.

6. Advance postgraduate studies and scientific research.

7. Support, develop, and nurture faculty and support staff.
