The College of Engineering team won the Rally Finals

The university team, represented by the College of Engineering, won first place for the best engineering design and the best exterior engineering shape for an electric car, in the Electric cars Rally race that was held in Sharm El-Sheikh yesterday

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister And the presence of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, a number of Egyptian university presidents, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Hillel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, after a strong competition that included 24 Egyptian teams.

Prof. Desouky, President of the University, praised the student projects that the students of the College of Engineering designed and implemented, stressing that they were distinguished and innovative in all practical and scientific aspects.

Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Hillel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, stressed that the university administration is keen to support innovative projects for students in various faculties and adopt and support students' ideas and projects. And that the Electric Car Rally is one of the largest scientific engineering competitions at the university that is interested in producing the best and strongest possible projects that are designed and implemented, supporting innovation, linking theoretical study with practical application and working to direct students’ ideas in the direction that qualifies them to be creative engineers.
