Within the framework of ongoing cooperation and comprehensive academic integration between the public and private universities in Kafr El-Sheikh, the Faculty of Engineering at Kafr El-Sheikh Public University hosted the "Orientation Day for Engineering Students of Kafr El-Sheikh Private University." This initiative reflects the university's commitment to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment for its students, and was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of the University.
The event was attended by a number of high-level university and faculty leaders, including:
* Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Shousha, Vice President of Kafr El-Sheikh Public University
*Professor Dr. Hassan Hassan Abdullah Younis, Dean of the Faculties of Engineering and Basic and Applied Sciences at Kafr El-Sheikh National University.
* Professor Dr. Abdel Fattah Helil, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the public university and Director of Engineering Programs at the National University.
The meeting was also attended by faculty members and academic advisors from the various engineering programs at the National University, amidst a large audience and enthusiastic participation from students who expressed great interest in learning about their promising educational journey.
The event began with warm welcoming remarks delivered by Professor Dr. Abdel Fattah Helil, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Director of Engineering Programs at the private university, welcomed the distinguished guests and new students. He presented the university's vision and its noble mission of providing high-quality engineering education that keeps pace with rapid changes and the demands of the job market at both the local and international levels. He emphasized the importance of the academic advising system and its pivotal role in guiding students to maximize their learning from their studies and refine their practical and research skills.
Following this, Professor Dr. Hassan Hassan Abdullah Younis, Dean of the Colleges of Engineering and Basic and Applied Sciences, delivered a speech in which he praised the students' high morale, emphasizing the engineering sector's commitment to providing all means of support and a comprehensive learning environment that balances theoretical knowledge with scientific applications. He also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Manal El-Sayed, the academic advisor for the first year (2025/2026), commending her tremendous and dedicated efforts in successfully completing the academic year. Then, Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Shousha, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered a valuable speech in which he expressed his great pride in the joining of this elite group of students to the distinguished engineering programs. He highlighted the academic and organizational resources that the university employs to ensure the quality of education and student welfare.
The orientation day included an open dialogue during which academic advisors answered students' inquiries, emphasizing the university's commitment to providing the latest educational resources and advanced laboratories to guarantee a unique and distinguished academic experience.
